The conference is the place to be for anyone looking to exchange the most innovative and original technological ideas across the industry from around the world. GTC showcases exciting new innovations that create new opportunities for the industry.
With a lineup of world-class innovators and industry leaders, this is one show not to be missed.
Topics for GTC relate to all aspects of the Liquid Gas industry, covering both LPG and renewable DME, where there is an emphasis on technology development and improvement that leads to, for example, expanded opportunities for fuel usage and volume growth, operations optimisation, cost reduction, increased safety, energy efficiency and reduced carbon footprint.
Submissions can cover new and innovative ways of using Liquid Gas, including LPG and renewable DME, significant improvements of existing applications, or appliances and equipment that use it as a fuel. Although the focus of GTC is technology, the scope also includes abstracts describing sucessful marketing and implementation of new technology.
All accepted papers and presenters will receive unbeatable visibility and exposure, including:

GTC2024 Awards
Congratulations again to G-volution who won the prestigious 2024 Innovation Award at GTC2024 during LPG Week in Cape Town with their paper: "Adoption of LPG, Renewable LPG and DME in high efficiency fuel cells for rail and road vehicle propulsion".
The joint Innovation Award runners-up went to: Polar Power with their paper: 'Solar and LPG hybrid heat pump for air conditioning and refrigeration' and Hydrogen Energy Applications (HYENA) South Africa with their paper 'Solving the hydrogen infrastructure'.
A total of seven category awards were given as below:
- Applications: Indian Oil Corporation, with the “High Efficiency Stove”
- Operations: Gasbot, with the “Cylinder Telemetry Built for Scale”
- Power Generation: Copa Energia Aquaculture, with the “Innovative Applications of LPG In Power Generation and Aquaculture”
- Product (two winners): Futuria Fuels, with the "Unlocking the Potential of Propane: High Yield, Low Energy Hydrogen Production Using Propane" and Aygaz, with the "Development of Zeolite – Based Adsorbent for Deep Desulphurisation of LPG"
- Transport (as well as the Innovation Award): G-Volution, with the “Adoption of LPG, Renewable LPG and DME in High Efficiency Fuel Cells for Rail and Road Vehicle Propulsion”
- Safety: Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd, with the “No more LPG Fires – No more Lives Lost”
