The World LPG Challenge’25 call for submissions under the theme: "Delivering Innovation - Revolutionising Energy" is now closed. The three inalists were notified in the third quarter of 2025 and has been asked to prepare a short presentation in preparation of the pitch during Liquid Gas Week 2025 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Evaluating Panel & Prizes
Your application will be reviewed by leaders from throughout the Liquid Gas industry, including senior executives from the WLGA team and select WLGA members who all have a deep understanding of the challenges facing the industry. Finalists will present a five-minute pitch live at Liquid Gas Week 2025 in Rio de Janeiro. The live audience in Rio de Janeiro will select the winner.
The final candidates will be invited to Rio de Janeiro to participate in the final pitch competition on Thursday 25th September on the conference main stage where a live audience will select the winner.
Each of the finalists will receive a complimentary pass to Liquid Gas Week 2025 in Rio de Janeiro to compete in the final pitch off on Thursday 25th September on the conference main stage where a live audience will select the winner. In addition, the finalists will be provided with a complimentary pop-up booth within the exhibition area where finalists can promote their Revolutionising Innovation to industry leaders from around the world. The winners of the World LPG Challenge’25 will share a prize pool of over $10,000, and the overall winner will receive a complimentary pass to Liquid Gas Week 2026 in Istanbul.

World LPG Challenge’25 Award
The prestigious World LPG Challenge award is given to the most outstanding solution presented on the main stage at Liquid Gas Week event.
The World LPG Challenge’24 award was granted to the winner chosen from the three finalists presented in Cape Town in 2024.
Alcides Marques, COO of SmartDispenser won the prestigious 2024 Award in Cape Town. The other two finalists were NextAV and TMA.
