Global Technology Conference

The Global Technology Conference (GTC) is the only global conference devoted exclusively to technology and innovation in the Liquid Gas industry, covering both LPG and renewable DME.

Created and launched in 2006 in Chicago by the World Liquid Gas Association, the Global Technology Conference is the ultimate stage for showcasing game-changing ideas and cutting-edge advancements in the industry. 

The preceding conferences were extremely successful and included presentations from all corners of the world (Chicago, Seoul, Madrid, Doha, Bali, London, Miami, Singapore, Florence, Marrakech, Houston, Amsterdam, Dubai, New Delhi, Rome, Cape Town and Istanbul).

The industry’s 19th Global Technology Conference will take place on Tuesday 13th October 2026 during Liquid Gas Week 2026.

What to Expect at GTC2026?

As an integral part of Liquid Gas Week, GTC2026 will take stage in Istanbul on Tuesday 13th October.

The conference is the place to be for anyone looking to exchange the most innovative and original technological ideas across the industry from around the world. GTC showcases exciting new innovations that create new opportunities for the industry.

With a lineup of world-class innovators and industry leaders, this is one show not to be missed.

What type of innovation does the GTC cover?

Topics for GTC relate to all aspects of the Liquid Gas industry, covering both LPG and renewable DME, where there is an emphasis on technology development and improvement that leads to, for example, expanded opportunities for fuel usage and volume growth, operations optimisation, cost reduction, increased safety, energy efficiency and reduced carbon footprint.

Submissions can cover new and innovative ways of using Liquid Gas, including LPG and renewable DME, significant improvements of existing applications, or appliances and equipment that use it as a fuel. Although the focus of GTC is technology, the scope also includes abstracts describing successful marketing and implementation of new technology.
